Most agencies claim that they can help you search for a property throughout Australia. In reality, most will eventually outsource to other agencies because different States require different licenses to operate and have different practices. It is not possible to know every suburb in Australia inside out, and we believe you should not have to pay for your agent’s learning curve or for them to simply outsource the work. We only cover certain areas of Sydney and are upfront with you if we do not have expertise in a particular geographical area. If we do not cover the suburb you are interested in, we will be happy to refer you to another Buyers’ Agent who might be able to assist you.
We Care About the Purchase Price
We are strong negotiators and use our knowledge and relationships to your advantage. We work very hard to accurately appraise each property of interest, and to negotiate effectively for our clients. We do our utmost to acquire the property at the best possible price. As our business is largely based on referrals, it is far more important for us to have a truly satisfied client in the long run than to achieve a quick turnover by encouraging our client to pay up. You can read in many of our testimonials that we usually buy a property at a far lower price than what was authorised by our clients prior to the negotiation. This is because we treat your money as if it was our own.
No Distractions
We are a company which consists only of buyers agents. At OH Property Group, we are dedicated to our core business of buying properties. We do not go on spruiking tours, sell DVDs and books, offer property coaching services or undertake flipping projects. With OH Property Group, you can be assured that we will not be distracted by peripheral businesses and 100% of our focus will be on helping you buy the right property at the right price. If and when requested, we do manage properties that we have bought for our clients because we know these assets and can appraise rental return more accurately. We understand the market intimately because buying properties is what we do – day in, and day out.
Transparent and Ethical
Many agencies don’t reveal their prices until you contact them and request a quote. This is often because they want to learn more about you first and gauge how much they can charge you based on where you are from, the areas you are interested in purchasing and your budget. Foreign buyers and expats are particularly susceptible to this practice and are often charged a premium compared to ‘locals’. Premium buyers with a high budget are often also targeted.
OH Property Group has always made its schedule of professional fees openly available on the website. You can be assured that we are charging a fair price and will not charge you more on the basis of your background and perceived status or wealth.
