Annika Wood
LREA
Buyers Agent
During her career in real estate sales, Annika realised that too many buyers do not have access to the knowledge and experience so critical to buying property. She decided to move across to the ‘other side’ and represent buyers instead, and assist them with what is arguably the most important financial decision of their lifetime.
Her experience in real estate sales, in-depth knowledge of the areas she buys in and her natural ability to relate to people allows her to understand good property, good buying and putting together a good deal. Clients and agents appreciate her warm, friendly manner and her sense of humour. She appreciates the enormity of the buying decision and she works hard to find the right home, perform the necessary due diligence and negotiate a fair price.
Real estate is not just a job, it’s Annika’s passion. She has bought and sold several properties herself and she has built her own investment portfolio. This experience and a natural ability to match a home to the client’s lifestyle, allows her to find that ideal home every time, however long it takes.
Annika worked as a sales agent on the upper North Shore for a number of years. Prior to real estate, Annika worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles and she has a thorough understanding of the concepts of service, communication and negotiation.
Annika holds both a Bachelor of Nursing and a Diploma in Hotel Management. In addition to English, Annika also speaks Dutch. Aside from real estate, Annika loves to travel, spend time with her husband and three girls and socialise with friends.
